User-friendly programming

The fax machine is designed to be easy to use with LCD on-screen

programming using the navigation key. User-friendly programming

helps you take full advant age of all the menu selections th e fax

machine has to offer.

Since your programming is done on the LCD, we have created

step-by-step on-screen instructions to help you program the fax

machine. All you need to do i s follow the instructions as the y guide

you through the menu selecti ons and programming options.

Menu table

You can probably program t he fax machine witho ut the User’s Guide.

But to help you understand the menu selections and options that are

found in the fax machine programs, use the Menu ta ble on page 3-4.

Memory Storage

If there is a power failure, you will not lose your menu settings

because they are stored perma nently. Temporary settings (such as

Contrast, Overseas Mode, and so on) will be lost. You may also have

to reset the date and time.

On-Screen Programming

You can program the fax machin e by pressing Menu/Set

followed by the menu numbers .

For example to set RESOLUTION to FINE:

Press Menu/Set, 3, 4 and or to select FINE.

Press Menu/Set.
