Paging Feature enables your fa x machine to call your pager when
a fax is received into its memory.
Pause Allows you to place a 3.5 second delay in the dialling
sequence stored on Quick-Dial numbers.
Photo resolution A resolution setting that uses varying shades of
gray for the best representat ion of photographs.
Polling The process of a fax machine calling another fax machine
to retrieve waiting fax messages.
Pulse A form of rotary dialling on a telephone line.
Remote Access Code Your own four-digit code (--- ) that allows
you to call and access the fax machine from a remote location.
Resolution The number of vertical a nd horizontal lines per inch.

Ring Delay The number of ri ngs before the fax ma chine answers in
FAX ONLY and FAX/TEL modes.
Search An electronic , alphabetical listing of stor ed Tel-Index and
Group numbers.
Standard resolution 203 x 98 dpi. It is used for regular size text
and quickest transmission.
Station ID The stored information that appears on the top of faxed
pages. It includes t he sender’s name and fa x number.
Super fine resolution 203 x 391 dpi. Best for very sma ll print and
line art.
Tone A form of dialling o n the telephone line u sed for Touch Tone
telephones.
Transmission The process of sending documents over the phone
lines from the fax machine to a receiving fax machine.
