idle-pattern
To specify the data pattern transmitted on the T1/E1 when missing packets are detected on the PWE3
circuit, use the idle-pattern command in CEM configuration mode.
idle-pattern [pattern]
no idle-pattern
Syntax Description
Defaults Default idle-pattern is 0xFF.

Usage Guidelines The idle-pattern data is sent to replace the data from missing packets.
Examples The following example illustrates the use of the idle-pattern command:

Router(config-if)# no ip address
