4Remove the hard-drive tray. See "Removing the Hard-Drive Tray" on page 181.

5Remove the interposer extender. See "Removing the Interposer Extender" on page 182.

6Disconnect all cables from the node power distribution board (NPDB). See Figure 3-38. When you disconnect the power cable, press down the cable-locking tab and disconnect the power cable from the NPDB.

Note the routing of the cables on the sled as you remove them from the sled tray. You must route these cables properly when you replace them to prevent the cables from being pinched or crimped.

7Remove the four screws securing the NPDB to the sled tray. See Figure 3-38.

8Lift the NPDB out of the sled tray. See Figure 3-38.
