Table 6-2. System Board Jumper Settings

Jumper	Setting	Description
PWRD_EN	(default)	The password feature is enabled.
		The password feature is disabled.
NVRAM_CLR	(default)	The configuration settings are retained at system
		boot.
		The configuration settings are cleared at the next
		system boot. (If the configuration settings
		become corrupted to the point where the system
		will not boot, move the jumper to this position
		and boot the system. Move the jumper back to
		the default position before restoring the
		configuration information.)

SAS/SATA Backplane Board Connectors

The SAS/SATA backplane is present in systems that have a front-loading hot- plug hard drive bay (when available). Figure 6-2 shows the locations of the SAS/SATA backplane connectors.
