4Remove the processor shroud. See "Removing the Processor Shroud" on page 72.

5Disconnect the fan’s power cable from the system board.

6Press and hold the fan release tab, and slide the fan in the direction of the arrow and out of the securing slots (see Figure 3-32).

7Replace the system fan. See "Installing the System Fan" on page 126.
