
Analog Device Support
Analog device ports are only available on certain DIVA T/A models. These two ports let you connect analog devices such as ordinary telephones, answering machines, fax machines, or modems to your DIVA T/A. Calls to and from these analog devices are carried over your ISDN line. You also get additional calling features such as Call Forwarding, etc.

Whenever possible, you should use Multilink PPP (MLPPP) since it provides maximum throughput with the remote device.

To use this feature, Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation (DBA) must be enabled.
•If you are using Windows 95/98/NT, launch the Windows Configuration Tool and verify this option in the ‘Data’ tab (see page 44).
•If you are using a Macintosh (System 7 or later), launch the Macintosh Configuration Tool and verify this option in the ‘Advanced’ tab (see page 70).
•If you are using any other platform, use the VT100 Configuration Tool and verify this option in the ‘Advanced’ menu (see page 73).
