Updating Firmware
Macintosh (System 7 or Later)
When you download new firmware, the DIVA T/A will ask you if you want to export your
current profiles. It is recommended that you export the profiles. This assures you have a
backup available in the event the profiles are lost during the download. If the profiles do get
lost, use the Import Profile command and copy the exported profiles back to the device.
To update your firmware:
1Launch the DIVA Terminal Adapters program.
2Select the device to which you are going to download new firmware.
3From the ‘Modem’ menu, select ‘Download Firmware’.
4Click ‘Export’ if you wish to export your current files to disk, or click ‘OK’ to skip this step.
5Select one of the firmware files from the list. These files are located in the ‘ELMs’ folder of
the ‘DIVA Terminal Adapters’ folder. If you wish to choose a firmware file from another
location, click ‘Browse’.
6Click ‘OK’ to start the download. This will take a few minutes.
Note: When downloading new firmware, do not open another application until the
process is complete. Doing so may cause the download to time out.
7Click ‘OK’ when the download is complete. The device is automatically be restarted.
