Parameter Description
Switch Type Specifies the ISDN switch type used by your ISDN service provider.
Your choices are Europe (Euro ISDN), Japan (INS-Net64), China ISDN,
Singapore ISDN, and, for Australia, TPH1962 (Microlink) and Euro ISDN
(OnRamp). Default: Europe (EuroISDN).
Note: If you select China ISDN as the Switch Type, the Region parameter (on
the Phone Lines screen) will automatically be set to China.
Directory
Number
(1st/2nd
Number)
Specifies your ISDN number. If your line supports Multiple Subscriber
Numbers (MSNs), the DIVAT/A handles incoming calls differently, depending
on what you enter in the Directory Number field(s).
If you do not specify a number in either the ‘1st Number’ or ‘2nd Number’
fields, all ports (PHONE 1, PHONE 2, and ISDN) answer all ISDN numbers
assigned to your line.
If you specify a number in the ‘1st Number’ field but leave the ‘2nd Number’
field empty, all ports (PHONE 1, PHONE 2, and ISDN) answer only calls to the
specified numb er.
If you specify one number in the ‘1st Number’ field, and a different number
in the ‘2nd Number’ field, PHONE 1 answers only calls to the first number;
PHONE2 answers only calls to the second number; and the ISDN port
answer calls to either the 1st or 2nd number.
