| ‘Initial Billing Interval’: Specifies the minimum time a |
|
| open (in seconds). For example, if the value is set to 600, a channel, once open, |
|
| will remain open for at least 10 minutes (600 seconds). |
|
| If you are charged a fixed amount for the first x seconds of a call (e.g. 300 |
|
| seconds), a good rule of thumb is to set the timer to this value, e.g. 300. For an |
|
| example of setting the interval under more advanced conditions, see “Billing |
|
| Interval Example” on page 137. |
|
| Setting the timer to 0 disables it. The Billing Interval is also, effectively disabled. |
|
| Default: 60 seconds. |
|
| ‘Billing Interval’: Specifies the time interval your Service Provider uses to bill |
|
| usage of your ISDN line (in seconds). For example if your Provider charges $Y per |
|
| 60 seconds, enter 60. |
|
| Setting the timer to 0 disables it. The Initial Billing Interval remains in effect. |

| Default: 60 seconds. |
