Call Waiting
Call Waiting alerts you to a second incoming call during an active call. This feature is available as a service through your ISDN line (referred to as “ISDN Call Waiting”) and also from the DIVA T/A modem itself (referred to as “DIV AT/A Call Waiting”).

Enabling ISDN Call Waiting
ISDN Call Waiting can only be enabled by your ISDN service provider. If you are unsure if your ISDN line has this feature, check with your provider.
Enabling and Disabling DIVAT/A Call Waiting
To enable DIVA T/A Call Waiting:
1Lift the receiver, then wait for a dial tone.
2Press *43#.
3Three rising tones are played to confirm Call Waiting has been enabled.
To disable DIVA T/A Call Waiting:
1Lift the receiver, then wait for a dial tone.
2Press #43#.
3Three falling tones are played to confirm that Call Waiting has been disabled.
To determine if Call Waiting is enabled
1Lift the receiver, then wait for a dial tone.
2Press *#43#.
3If enabled, you will hear three rising tones; if disabled, you will hear three falling tones.
Using Call Waiting When Alerted to a Second Incoming Call
In order to use the following keypad commands, your ISDN line must also support Call Hold. These commands apply to both ISDN Call Waiting and the DIVA T/A’s internal Call Waiting.
To ignore the incoming call:
1Do nothing.
2The two beeps will repeat te nseconds later.
To reject the incoming call:
1Press R and wait for a dial tone.
2Press 0.
3The incoming caller will receive a busy signal. Call Waiting will also be disabled for the duration of the call.
