The protocol is 9600 baud, 8-bit, 1 stop bit, no parity, and no flow control.

Front Panel Configuration Port

NThis port is hardwired for RS-232 only.

NThis port is independent of the rear panel RS-232/RS-422 port. A front panel Configuration port connection and a rear panel RS-232/RS-422 port connection can both be active at the same time.

The optional 9-pin D to 2.5 mm mini jack TRS RS‑232 cable, part #70-335-01(figure 4-2) can be used for connection to the Configuration port.
