The following tools are recommended for troubleshooting the HP DeskJet 400 printer:

•Dial caliper or accurate linear scale

•Tissue paper

•Cotton swabs

•Rigid card stock

•Clean soft cloth

•Voltmeter (used to check the voltage out of the power adapter)
