RAM disk file operation failed
1 Check the file name and directory name.
2 Reseat the RAM disk.

3 Reattempt the operation.
RAM disk file system is full
1Delete the unnecessary files, and then try again, or turn the printer off, and then turn the printer on to delete all files on the device. (Delete files using HP Resource Manager or another software utility. See the software Help for more information.)
2If the message persists, increase the size of the RAM disk from the Configuration menu in the printer control panel, or use HP Resource Manager to increase or decrease the RAM disk size.
RAM disk is write protected
Use HP JetAdmin software to disable the write protection.
Receive error
Ask the sender to resend the fax.
Receiving fax busy/Canceled fax
1Call the recipient to ensure that the fax machine is on and ready.
2Check that you are dialing the correct fax number.
3Check that the redial on busy option is enabled.
4Press and hold STOP/CLEAR for 7 seconds to check for a dial tone.
5Unplug the product from the wall, plug in a telephone, and try making a call.
6If the error persists, replace the LIU.
