CONTROL TRANSFORMER (T5) VOLTAGE TEST

Service and repair should be performed by only Lincoln Electric factory trained personnel. TEST DESCRIPTION
The following procedure will determine if the correct voltage is being applied to the primary of the control transformer and induced on the secondary.
MATERIALS NEEDED
Volt/Ohmmeter (Multimeter) 5/16” Nut Driver
Machine Wiring Diagrams (See the Electrical Diagram Section of this manual.)
Control Transformer (T5) Voltage Test Chart and drawing of transformer and molex plug (P4), Figure F.14.
