CONFIGURING WITH A LOCAL CONSOLE

The prompt

System Messages : [Quiet Mode]

will appear.

The default of System Messages is Quiet Mode.

Pressing the spacebar on the keyboard will change the setting to Verbose Mode. Pressing the spacebar again will change the setting back to Quiet Mode, and so forth.

Choices:

Verbose Mode causes the router to display messages about the status of the system. This mode is recommended as an aid to troubleshooting.

Quiet Mode causes the router to suppress the messages about the status of the system. Once the router is configured and you are satisfied with the settings, it is recommended to have System Messages set to the Quiet Mode.

Press the Enter key when you are ready to continue.
