Notas referentes a la batería

aproximado de grabación continua.
El tiempo de grabación se ve afectado por las condiciones ambientales y la temperatura.
El tiempo de grabación se acorta enormemente en un entorno frío, ya que la
temperatura y condiciones ambientales varían.
Los tiempos de grabación continuada que se dan en este manual de
instrucciones están medidos empleando una batería completamente cargada
a 25 °C (77 °F). El tiempo de la batería restante puede diferir de los tiempos de
grabación continuos facilitados en las instrucciones.
Cuando adquiera una batería nueva, le recomendamos que compre
la misma batería que se facilita con esta videocámara. La batería está
disponible en distribuidores de SAMSUNG.
Cuando se termine la vida útil de la batería, póngase en contacto con su
proveedor habitual. Las baterías deben tratarse como residuos químicos.
Asegúrese de que la batería esté completamente cargada antes de empezar a grabar.
Las baterías nuevas no vienen cargadas. Antes de utilizar la batería es
necesario cargarla por completo.
La batería puede ser más propensa a fugas cuando se deja totalmente descargada.
Cuando se descargue completamente, la batería daña las células internas.
Para ahorrar energía de la batería mantenga la videocámara apagada cuando
no la esté usando.
Si la videocámara está en el modo Camera (Cam) con una cinta colocada y se
deja en el modo STBY sin hacerla funcionar durante más de cinco minutos, se
apagará automáticamente para ahorrar energía de la batería.
No deje caer la batería. Si se llegara a caer podría estropearse.

CONEXIÓN DE UNA FUENTE DE ALIMENTACIÓN
Hay dos tipos de fuentes de energía a las que se
puede conectar la videocámara.
- El adaptador de alimentación de CA: se
emplea para grabaciones en interiores.

La batería: se emplea para grabaciones en exteriores.
Utilización de una fuente de
alimentación casera
Conecte una fuente de alimentación casera para utilizar la
Videocámara sin tener que preocuparse sobre la energía
de la batería.Puede mantener la batería
conectada; la energía de la batería no se consumirá.
1. Deslice hacia abajo el interruptor POWER para encender.
2.
Abra la tapa de los terminales y conecte el adaptador de CA al terminal de DC IN.
3. Conecte el adaptador de CA a una toma de corriente.
Es posible que la clavija y la toma de corriente sean de distinto tipo,
dependiendo de su lugar de residencia.
4.
Deslice el interruptor POWER hacia abajo para encender la unidad y presione
el botón MODE para fijar Camera (Cam) ( ) o Player ( ).

Notes regarding the Battery Pack
Please refer to the table on page 15 for approximate continuous recording time.

The recording time shortens dramatically in a cold environment, as the
environmental temperature and conditions vary.
The continuous recording times in the operating instructions are
measured using a fully charged battery pack at 25 °C (77 °F). The
remaining battery time may differ from the approximate continuous
recording times given in the instructions.
When purchasing a new battery pack, we recommend buying the
same battery pack that is provided with this camcorder. The battery
pack is available at SAMSUNG retailers.
When the battery reaches the end of its life, please contact your local
dealer.Batteries should be handled as chemical waste.
Make sure that the battery pack is fully charged before starting to record.
A brand new battery pack is not charged. Before using the battery pack,
you need to charge it completely.
The battery pack may be prone to leakage when fully discharged.Fully
discharging a battery pack damages the internal cells.
To preserve battery power, keep your camcorder turned off when you are
not operating it.
If your camcorder is in Camera mode, and it is left in STBY mode without
being operated for more than 5 minutes with a tape inserted, it will
automatically turn itself off to protect against unnecessary battery discharge.
Do not drop the Battery Pack. Dropping the battery pack may damage it.

CONNECTING A POWER SOURCE
There are two types of power source that can be
connected to your camcorder.
-
The AC Power Adapter: used for indoor recording.
- The Battery Pack: used for outdoor recording.
Using a Household Power Source
Connect to a household power source to use the
camcorder without having to worry about the battery
power. You can keep the battery pack attached; the
battery power will not be consumed.
1. Slide the POWER switch downwards to turn off the
power.
2. Open the jack cover and connect the AC power adaptor to the DC IN jack.
3. Connect the AC power adaptor to a wall socket.
The plug and wall socket type may differ according to your resident
country.
4. Slide the POWER switch downwards to turn on the power and press the
MODE button to set Camera ( ) or Player ( ).
