Misfeed in the saddle stitch finisher

If a misfeed has occurred in the saddle stitch finisher during printing, remove the misfed paper following the procedure

below.

Pull the knob and slide the saddle stitch

Close the top cover.

1finisher away from the main unit.

 

Remove the misfed paper from the main

2unit.

If misfed paper is not found in step 1, open

3the top cover.

7Open the front cover.

Turn roller rotating knob C until a blue

8indication is seen (when the stapling function has been used).

Turn roller rotating knob B until the triangle

4mark reaches the position indicated in the illustration (only if a punch module is installed as a peripheral unit).

5Remove the misfed paper.

Be careful not to tear the misfed paper during removal.

Remove the misfed paper from the stapler

9compiler (when the stapling function has been used).
