Administrator Code

The security functions can only be set up and changed by the administrator of the machine. To access the security functions, the administrator must enter the administrator code.

The administrator code has been set to “00000000” at the factory. It is strongly recommended that the administrator of the machine change the administrator code to a code that only he or she knows. To change

the administrator code, follow the steps below.

Hold down

SECURE

until [ADMIN CODE SETUP] / [PRESS

START KEY] appears in the display.

Press START .

Display: [ENTER OLD CODE]

Enter the current administrator code.

•If you are setting the code for the first time, enter 00000000.

•To clear a mistake, press DEL .

Press START .

Enter the new code that you wish to use (any number from 5 to 8 digits).

Press START . The code will be printed out.

•Take care not to lose the print-out or forget the code. In the event that you forget the code and have kept no record, contact your dealer.

•If [USE ANOTHER CODE] appears, the code you entered is already being used for one of the other security functions. Enter a different code.
