1.Use the tensioningknob on the ribboncartridgeto tightenthe ribbonif it is slack (turn clockwise).

2.Use the grips on the side of the ribbon cartridge to help locate the cartridge(squeezetheminwardsgently),andmakesurethatthespindles on the cartridgeholderfit into the socketson the cartridgeitself.
