13 Printer Management

4.Press Menu to access the Usage Profile menu.

■To email a full report, press the left or right arrow buttons until the front panel displays Email Report. Then press OK. The recipients of this report are speciﬁed in the PhaserLink email notiﬁcation pages. A full report is sent to the users speciﬁed in the Regular Intervals ﬁeld of the View and Conﬁgure Status Notiﬁcation Custom Settings page. A report is also sent to Tektronix if the Email to Tektronix ﬁeld in the View and Conﬁgure Status Notiﬁcation Settings page is set to On.

■To email a job report, press the left or right arrow buttons until the front panel displays Email Job Report. Then press OK. The recipients of this report are speciﬁed in the PhaserLink email notiﬁcation pages. A job report is sent to the users speciﬁed in the Each Job ﬁeld of the View and Conﬁgure Status Notiﬁcation Custom Settings page.

5.To return the printer to normal operation, press Exit (the far right button) until the front panel displays Ready.

Sending Usage Proﬁle reports via email: PhaserLink Printer Management Software

N O T E

To send Usage Proﬁle reports via email, Status Notiﬁcation (Email Notiﬁcation) must be properly set up for your printer. For more information, see “PhaserLink Status Notiﬁcation (Email Notiﬁcation)” on page 130.

1.From the printer’s home page, click Conﬁguration; this displays the View and Conﬁgure Settings page.

2.On the View and Conﬁgure Settings page, select Usage Proﬁle Full Report or Usage Proﬁle Job Report from the Email pull-down list. Click Email.

The recipients of this report are speciﬁed in the PhaserLink email notiﬁcation pages.

■A job report is sent to the users speciﬁed in the Each Job ﬁeld of the View and Conﬁgure Status Notiﬁcation Custom (Email Custom) Settings page.

■A full report is sent to the users speciﬁed in the Regular Intervals ﬁeld of the View and Conﬁgure Status Notiﬁcation Custom (Email Custom) Settings page. A full report is also sent to Tektronix if the Email to Tektronix ﬁeld in the View and Conﬁgure Status Notiﬁcation (Email Notiﬁcation) Settings page is set to On.
