6.To disable TCP/IP:

a.Press the down-arrow button until TCP/IP is highlighted. Press Select.

b.Press the down-arrow button until TCP/IP Interface is highlighted.

c.Press Select until Off is displayed.

■To return the printer to normal operation, press the down-arrow button until Exit is highlighted. Press Select.

■To disable other protocols, press the up-arrow button until Previous Menu is highlighted. Press Select. Continue with Step 7.

7.To disable HTTP:

a.Press the down-arrow button until HTTP is highlighted.

b.Press Select until Off is displayed.

c.To return the printer to normal operation, press the down-arrow button until Exit is highlighted. Press Select.

1.Press Menu; the front panel displays Help Pages.

N O T E

When you are in the menu, if the front panel is not used for 5 minutes, the printer returns to the Ready state.

2.Enter the Network Settings menu by pressing ---->or <----until the front panel displays Network Settings.

3.Press Menu; the front panel displays TCP/IP.

4.Disabling TCP/IP:

a.Press Menu; the front panel displays Interface.

b.Press Menu again to display the current status of the protocol:

Interface:Enabled or Interface:Disabled. The current status is marked with an asterisk (*) in the upper-right corner of the display.

c.Press ---->until the front panel displays Interface:Disabled.

d.Press OK to disable the protocol; the front panel briefly displays

Selected, then it displays Interface.

e.Press Exit (the far left button) to return to the TCP/IP display.
