An interface adapter is required (Zebra part number 33138) to connect the printer’s DB-9 interface to a DB-25 connector. A generic DB-25 adapter may also be used. The +5 VDC signal source would not be passed through a generic adapter.

This illustration shows the connections required for the DB-9 to DB-25 interface.
