Front Panel Controls

		Selecting Print Method: Press either black oval to
		display choices.
		Default: Thermal transfer
		Selections: Thermal transfer, direct thermal
	35,17￿	The print method parameter tells the printer the
	0(7+2'	method of printing you wish to use: direct thermal
		(no ribbon) or thermal transfer (using thermal
		transfer media and ribbon).
		Note • Selecting direct thermal when using thermal
		transfer media and ribbon creates a printer error
		condition, but printing continues.
		Setting Print Width:
		‡￿To increase the value, press the right black oval.
		‡￿To decrease the value, press the left black oval.
		To change the unit of measurement:
	35,17￿:,'7+￿	1. Press the left black oval until the unit of
		measurement is active.
		2. Press the right black oval to toggle to a different
		unit of measure (mm, inches, or dots).
		Default Range: The default and range of acceptable
		values vary depending on what printer you have. See
		General Specifications on page 94 for further
		information about the ranges available for your
		model. Print width determines the printable area
		across the width of the label.
		Note • The printer does not accept any value larger
		than the maximum print width listed on Labels and
		Print Modes on page 23.
