| This procedure is used to adjust the sensitivity of the | |

| presented. All steps must be performed even if only | |
|
| one of the sensors requires adjustment. | |

| 1. | Press NEXT/SAVE to skip the calibration |
|
|
| procedure and continue with the host port |
|
|
| selection parameters that follow. |

| 2. | Press the right black oval to start the calibration |
|
|
| procedure. |

| Note • You may press the left black oval at any step | |
|
| in this procedure to cancel the procedure. | |

|
| 1. | Open the printhead. |
|
| 2. | Remove approximately 8 in. (203 mm) of labels |

| from the media liner, and pull the media into the |
|
|
| printer so that only the liner is between the media |
|
|
| sensors. |

| 3. | Leave the printhead open. |
|
| 4. | Press the right black oval to continue. |

| The printer automatically adjusts the scale (gain) of | |

| 3/($6(:$,7 | sensors. On the sensor profile, this essentially | |

| corresponds to moving the peak of the graph up or | |
|
| down to optimize the readings for your application. | |
