Parameters

Server

 

MSS4 only.

 

period

 

Enter a length of time in minutes (1 to 120) or seconds (5 to 60). For minutes,

 

add an m after the number. For seconds, add an s after the number.

Defaults

30 minutes

Permits or denies incoming Telnet, Rlogin, and LAT connections and enforces password protection. The Show Server command shows the status of incoming connection parameters.

Restrictions

Requires privileged user status.

 

The MSSLite, MSS-VIA, and the MSS4 do not support LAT or the Both

 

parameter.

Telnet

 

Enables incoming Telnet connections.

 

LAT

 

Enables incoming LAT connections.

 

Both

 

Enables incoming Telnet and incoming LAT connections. Only valid on

 

models with LAT support.

 

None

 

Disables all incoming connections.
