White Level – Setting the Brightness of the Format Markings
The brightness of the format markings can be set to black (0), dark grey (1), and light grey (2) or white (3).
•Move the cursor > with the keys Ê and Ë to the line
– WHITE LEVEL. Pressing the key Í will switch the settings from 0 to 1 to 2 to 3 and back to 0, pressing the key Ì will step through the settings in the opposite direction.
Outside – Darkening the Area outside of the Format Markings
This function is only available if one or both format markings is activated.
The brightness of the area outside of one format marking can be reduced electronically to emphasize the important image area.
•Move the cursor > with the keys Ê and Ë to the line
– OUTSIDE. Pressing the key Í will switch from no shading (VID), light shading (LIGHT), dark shading (DARK) to black (BLACK) and back to VID. Pressing the key Ì will step through the options in the opposite direction.
