Maintenance Connections
Common types of console terminals are used for both switch and local DEFINITY LAN Gateway maintenance, allowing the same baud rates and parity to be used. Although a local maintenance terminal is optional, it does need to be available for installation and troubleshooting. A remote maintenance terminal may also be used.
