Finding the Switch Serial Number

If you contact Cisco Technical Assistance, you need to know the serial number of your switch. The serial number is on the compliance label on the right-hand side of the switch. See Figure 3-1. You can also use the show version privileged EXEC command to obtain the switch serial number.
