F1/F2 Prompt on Error

Enables the system to halt on errors during POST, which

(Enabled default)

allows the user to observe events that may scroll by

 

unnoticed during normal POST. The user can press

 

<F1> to continue or <F2> to enter the System Setup

 

program.

 

CAUTION: When setting this option to Disabled,

 

the system will not halt if an error occurs during

 

POST. Any critical errors will be displayed and

 

logged in the system event log.

Displays the amount of video memory.

System Memory Testing

Specifies whether system memory tests are run at system

Memory Operating Mode

This field displays the type of memory operation if a

valid memory configuration is installed. When set to

 

Optimizer Mode, the memory controllers run

 

independently of each other for improved memory

 

performance. When set to Mirror Mode, memory

 

mirroring is enabled. When set to Advanced ECC

 

Mode, two controllers are joined in 128-bit mode

 

running multi-bit advanced ECC. For information about

 

the memory modes, see "System Memory" on page 98.

Node Interleaving

If this field is Enabled, memory interleaving is supported

(Disabled default)

if a symmetric memory configuration is installed. If

 

Disabled, the system supports Non-Uniform Memory

 

architecture (NUMA) (asymmetric) memory

 

configurations.

 

NOTE: The Node Interleaving field must be set to Disabled

 

when using Mirror mode.
