To use the printer in the AppleTalk environment, configure the print server using the following screen.

Use AppleTalk

Select this box when using AppleTalk.

 

 

Printer Name

Enter the name of the printer (up to 32 characters).

 

 

Zone Name

Select or enter the network zone name (up to 32

 

characters).

 

To have the zone selected automatically, select

 

Automatic to specify the network number and

 

select an asterisk (*) in this text box.

 

To enter manually, select Manual Input and then

 

enter the zone name in the text box.
