Configuring the Printer Port

Follow the steps in the appropriate section below to configure the printer port. The printing speed will differ depending on the selections that you make.

Windows Me/98/95/NT 4.0

1.Click Start, point to Settings, and then select Printers.

2.Right-click the target printer and click Properties.

3.Windows Me/98/95: Click the Details tab and then Port Settings. The EPSON LPR Port dialog box appears.

Note:

If the message “There is nothing to configure for this port” appears when you click Port Settings, click OK.

Windows NT 4.0: Click the Ports tab and then Configure Port. The EPSON LPR Port dialog box appears.
