Extended Settings dialog box

When you click the Extended Settings button on the TCP/IP menu, the following dialog box appears.

Acquire DNS server

Select this check box if you want to acquire

address automatically

the DNS server address using the DHCP server.

 

To enter the DNS server address manually,

 

clear this check box. If the DNS is not

 

supported, this check box is dimmed.

 

 

DNS Server Addresses

Displays the DNS server address. To enter the

 

DNS server address, click the Add button.

 

To edit the DNS server address, select the

 

address and then click the Edit button.

 

To delete the DNS server address, select the

 

address and then click the Delete button.
