Adding a printer from the Printers folder

Follow the steps below to add a printer from the Printers folder.

1.Windows Me: Double-click the My Network Places icon.

Windows 98/95/NT 4.0: Double-click the Network Neighborhood icon.

Windows XP: Click Start and then My Network Places. Under Network Tasks, click View workgroup computers. Under Other Places, click Microsoft Windows Network and then Entire Network. Then double-click the

EpsonPeripheralNetwork icon.

Windows Server 2003: Click Start and then select Windows Explorer. Click My Network Places, click Entire Network, and then click EpsonPeripheralNetwork.

Windows 2000: Double-click the My Network Places icon and then double-click the Entire Network icon. Click entire contents, and then double-click the

EpsonPeripheralNetwork icon.

2.Right-click the Epson_lpr icon and select Properties. The Epson_lpr Properties dialog box appears.

3.Select Local Segment to search a printer in the same segment, or select Specific Network Segment and enter the IP address and subnet mask of the printer to find a printer located beyond the router. Click OK.
