Factory POWER-UP Default Configurations

FACTORY POWER-UP DEFAULT CONFIGURATIONS:

Serial ports:

Baud rate: 9600.

Word size: 8 bits.

Parity: None.

XON/XOFF: Off.

Printer sharing mode (high speed serial modules only): Bidirectional.

4-Wire/8-Wire Operation (M24SII-V07 high speed serial module only): 8-wire.

Logical Name: Device A to D on each module.

Port Designation: Port 2 of Module 1- printer port; all other ports - computer ports.

Default Printer Assignment: 0 for all computer ports (contention mode).

Port Select Code: $SELECT.

Printer Select Mode: Anytime.

Form Feed Mode: Disabled.

I.D. Page Message: "This print job is for:".

I.D. Page Message Schedule: Before each print job.

I.D. Page Message Enable: Off.

Minimum Size Print Job: 3 characters.

Easy to configure using on-screen menu. Choices are saved in non-volatile memory to become the new power-up default configuration.

	Configurable Through any Serial Computer Port:
	Baud rate for bidirectional transfer (high speed serial
	modules only)*: 300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600,
	19200, 38400, 115.2k.
	Baud rate for unidirectional transfer (high speed serial
	modules only)*: 9600, 115.2k, 230.4k, 460.8k.
	* Option configurable per port.
