Changing PowerSave settings
The adjustable PowerSave Time feature reduces power consumption when the printer has been inactive for an extended period. The printer display dims when the printer is in PowerSave Time mode. You can set the length of time before the printer goes into PowerSave Time mode to 1 minute, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or to 1, 2, or 4 hours. The default setting is 30 minutes.
To change the PowerSave setting
1Press MENU until CONFIGURATION MENU displays.
2Press ITEM until POWERSAVE TIME displays.
3Press VALUE until the appropriate setting displays.
4Press SELECT to save the setting.
5Press GO. The printer will return to the READY state within a few minutes.
