Adding support for accessory fonts to a printer driver

When you are using typefaces on DIMMs, your printer driver will require information about the size, shape, and style of the type characters so that it can format your text correctly.

Using special type effects

The printer can create special type effects, such as patterns, reverse printing, mirrored text, and font rotation. See the user guide for your application to verify that the application supports these features. Developers can find complete instructions for using special type effects in the PCL Technical Reference Package. (See page 32 for ordering information.)
