Procedure 1. Connect CAL OUTPUT to SIGNAL INPUT 2.

2 . Press [INSTR PRESET), @ on the analyzer.

3 . Adjust FREQ ZERO for a maximum amplitude trace.

4 . Press (1tds-r~ PRESET).

5 . Set the synthesized sweeper for a 100.000 MHz signal at a level of approximately 0 dBm.

6 . Connect equipment as shown in Figure 2-l.

7 . Set analyzer ~CENTER FREQUENCY) and [FREQUENCY SPAN) and synthesized sweeper frequency according to Table 2-2. At each setting, press [PEAK SEARCH).~~) to center the signal. Adjust CREFERENCE LEVEL) as necessary to place signal peak at a convenient level.

8.Record the CENTER readout frequency in the table for each setting. The limits for this frequency are given in the table. See Figure 2-2.
