System Status

System Status provides information about

 

the local memory (available buffers), how

 

many TCP sockets are in use, and the time

 

the unit has been operating since the last unit

 

reset or power up.

 

From the Unit Status Menu, select #1

 

“System.” The following system

 

information is provided:

 

System Status:

 

Available local memory (256 byte buffers: 30)

 

TCP sockets in use: 1

 

System up time (days: hh:mm:ss): xx:xx:xx:xx

Network Interface

Network Interface gives information on the

 

medium or connection status between the

 

RPC unit and the equipment it is attached to,

 

the number of faults, if any, the number of

 

transmitting errors, the number of buffers

 

left (30 or less) available to send data, and

whether the receive queue status is available to receive data. From the Unit Status Menu, select #2, “Network Interface.” The following network information is provided:
