LARGE INTERNET PACKETS=[on off]
Sets the Large Internet Packet (LIP) packet size above the default of 576 bytes.
In the past, NetWare communicated across routers and bridges with a 576- byte maximum packet size. However, Ethernet and token ring are capable of using larger packets for communication.
When the value for this parameter is set to “on,” the maximum packet size negotiated between the NetWare server and the client workstation is used, even across routers and bridges.
