Indicators on the IBM

The

IBM 2210

has green

and

amber light-emitting diodes (LEDs) that indi

status of the

system and

of

individual ports.

Ÿ Green indicates normal operation.

ŸAmber indicates the presence of a problem.

The indicators appear on the side of the IBM 2210 containing the por duplicated on the side that is opposite the ports. This arrangement al tomer to use either side as the “front.”

Figure 1-12 shows the indicators that appear on the side of the IBM taining the ports. Note that this illustration shows Model 12T; the port different models are tailored to the particular ports supported.
