Removing the Adapter Enablement Feature

Remove the front screws of the assembly from the front frame.

4 Insert an optional adapter into the module slot to ensure the ada the assembly correctly.

6 Attach the dc power cable to the connector on the left-hand side card assembly. Make sure the connector with the jumper is connecte riser card.

7 Connect the jumpers between the base power supply and the adapte supply together.

8 Replace the IBM 2210 cover as described in “Reinstalling the Cove page 4-4.

9 Verify that the IBM 2210 is functioning correctly by using “MAP 02 Operation” on page 2-23.

2 Detach the dc power cable from the connector on the left-hand si riser card assembly.

5 Carefully lift the assembly and riser board out of the socket on board.

6 Remove the adapter power supply from the power supply cover.
