3. Select [Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)] and click

2 Click “Properties”.

3 Select “Use the following IP address”.

4 Set the “IP address” to

192.168.0.11.

5 Set the “Subnet mask” to 255.255.255.0.

6 Set the “Default gateway” to 192.168.0.254.

7 Click “OK”.

4. Click on the “Local Area Connection Prop- erties” screen.

Note

This is the screen of Windows XP. The screen will be slightly different in the case of Windows 2000.

Caution

Do not use the same “IP address” within a network environment during setting.
