Understanding the printer menus		161
	Use	To
	Home screen customization	Change the icons and buttons that appear on the home screen.
	Change Language	For each icon or button, select from the following options:
	Copy	Display
	Copy shortcuts	Do not display
	Fax	Notes:
	Fax shortcuts
		• Display is the factory default setting for Copy, Fax, E‑mail,
	E‑mail
	E‑mail shortcuts	FTP, Search Held Jobs, Held jobs, USB Drive, Forms and
		Favorites, Basic Card Copy, Scan to Network, and My
	FTP
		Shortcuts.
	FTP shortcuts
		• “Do not display” is the factory default setting for Change
	Search held jobs
		language, Copy shortcuts, Fax shortcuts, E‑mail shortcuts,
	Held jobs
		FTP shortcuts, Profiles and Solutions, Bookmarks, and Jobs
	USB Drive	by user.

	Date Format	Format the printer date.
	MM‑DD‑YYYY	Notes:
	DD‑MM‑YYYY	• MM-DD-YYYY is the U.S. factory default setting.
	YYYY‑MM‑DD
		• DD‑MM‑YYYY is the international factory default setting.
	Time Format	Format the printer time.
	12 hour A.M./P.M.	Note: “12 hour A.M./P.M.” is the factory default setting.
	24 hour clock
	Screen Brightness	Set the brightness of the printer display.
	20–100	Note: 100 is the factory default setting.
	One Page Copy	Set copies from the scanner to only one page at a time.
	Off	Note: Off is the factory default setting.
	On
	Audio Feedback	Specify whether icons and buttons have audio feedback.
	Button Feedback	Notes:
	On
		• On is the factory default setting for Button Feedback.
	Off
		• 5 is the factory default setting for Volume.
	Volume
	1–10
	Show Bookmarks	Specify whether bookmarks are displayed from the Held Jobs area.
	Yes	Note: Yes is the factory default setting. When Yes is selected,
	No	bookmarks appear in the Held Jobs area.
