Noise is heard during a
call.
LYou are using the handset or base unit in an area with high
electrical interference. Locate the handset and base unit away from
interference sources, such as antenna and mobile phones.
The cordless handset
stops working while being
used.
LDisconnect the power cord and turn OFF the cordless handset to
reset the unit. Connect the power cord, turn ON the cordless
handset and try again.
While storing an item in
the phonebook or
assigning a one touch
dial, the cordless handset
starts to ring.
LTo answer a call, press {C} or {s}. Storing will be cancelled.
Store the name and number again.
I assigned a phonebook
item to a desired category,
but category ring tones
will not sound.
LYou must subscribe to Caller ID service.
I cannot redial by
pressing {R}.
LIf the last number dialled was more than 24 digits long, the number
will not be redialled correctly. Redial the number manually.
7 flashes or the
cordless handset beeps
intermittently while it is in
use.
LFully charge the batteries (page 8).
I fully charged the
batteries, but 7 still
flashes.
LClean the charge contacts and charge again (page 8).
LIt is time to replace the batteries (page 6).
I cannot receive
documents using the
cordless handset.
LThe memory is full of received documents due to a lack of
recording paper or a recording paper jam. Install paper (page 9) or
clear the jammed paper (page 93).
I cannot make a call with
the cordless handset.
LThe call bar feature is set. Turn it OFF (page 71).
LYou dialled a call restricted number. Remove the number from the
call restricted list (page 73).
LThe key lock feature is turned ON. Turn it OFF (page 25).
I cannot register a
cordless handset to a
base unit.
LThe maximum number of base units are already registered to the
cordless handset. Cancel unused base unit registrations from the
cordless handset (page 76).
LThe maximum number of cordless handsets are already registered
to the base unit. Cancel unused cordless handset registrations
from the base unit (page 76).
LYou entered the wrong PIN. If you forget your PIN, consult your
nearest Panasonic service centre.
LLocate the cordless handset and the base unit away from other
electrical appliances.
