DS1 Network Interface
–up(1) – DTR on, if supported by
the DTE
–down(2) – DTR off, if supported

Facility Data Link (FDL). When
enabled, up and down are based
on the current state of the physical
and link layer protocols.
–up(1) – Operational and no
active test on the DS1 network
