Using the Control Panel
Use the buttons on the control panel to get to the printer menus, define the print options, run a print job, position the print carriage and turn the printer ON LINE and OFF LINE .
You’ll normally perform these actions from within the application you’re using to set up your envelope layout.
The buttons on the control panel perform the following functions:
This Button... | Does This... |
ON LINE | Toggles (switches) between ON |
| LINE (communicates with host) |
| and OFF LINE (no communications |
| withhost). Note that the functions |
| of two buttons, Eject/- and Car |
| tridge/+, vary, depending on |
| whether the printer is ON LINE or |
| OFF LINE . |
Eject/- | When printer is OFF LINE, press to |
(minus) | eject the last printed piece from the |
| printer. When printer is ON LINE , |
| press to scroll through menu items |
