For privacy reasons, the Allow Remote Monitoring option can only be enabled or disabled from the ViewStation. ViewStation users with a LAN or private network may wish to consider whether this feature should be enabled or disabled.

Time Difference from GMT: Specifies the number of hours ahead or behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

Daylight Savings Time (DST):

Checked: Where DST is used.

Not Checked: Where DST is not used.

Require Account Number to Dial: GMS 2.0 or later is required to use this option.

Checked: This feature is used to log calls to a specific account for tracking and billing purposes. When selected, a call cannot be made without first entering an account number. This account number is saved in the GMS server database along with information specific to the call. Typically, the GMS administrator assigns the account number.

Not Checked: Account numbers are not required to place a call, and information specific to the call is not maintained in the GMS database.
