Controlling Telnet Access

You can disable Telnet access to Vmux-2100.

By disabling Telnet, you prevent unauthorized access to the system when security of the Vmux-2100 IP address has been compromised. When Telnet access is disabled, Vmux-2100 can be managed via an ASCII terminal or RADview.

To disable the Telnet access:

1.From the Management menu (Figure 4-6), choose Telnet. The Telnet value toggles between Enable and Disable.

2.Set to ‘Disable’.
