Resetting the unit

A strong impact, exposure to an electrical field, or other unusual conditions may
render the unit inoperable, and pressing the keys and tapping the buttons will have
no effect. If this occurs, you will have to reset the unit by pressing the RESET button
on the back of the unit using the stylus or similar object.
Note:
If the unit becomes inoperable, some or all of the data stored in the memory
may be lost.
Do not use anything with a sharp tip or anything that might break to press the
RESET button.
If the unit does not work properly after resetting it, remove the batteries and
wait for several seconds before replacing them. Then press the RESET
button.

All reset operation

If the unit still fails to function after it has been reset using the procedure above, or
you have forgotten the password to be entered in the start-up display, you will have
to reset it using a slightly more complicated method:
Caution: When you do a complete reset of the unit, all data created and all
Add-on software installed in the unit will be deleted.
1. While pressing and holding , press and release the RESET button.
A message appears.
